Most blogs are inevitably more opinion-driven. Though two conservative blogs stand out -- The Real Sporer and Conservative Cyclones -- the state's more prominent blogs lean left. There's Century of the Common Iowan, written by Patrick Stansberry, a 44-year-old teacher, and Iowa True Blue, where Gordon Fischer, a lawyer and former chair of the Iowa Democratic Party, blogs about his support for Sen. Barack Obama, whom he's advising.So I think it is safe to say that I have something in common with Valerie Plame: I have been outed by the Washington Post. The Post is correct in that I am a teacher, however, I am definitely not 44.

Iowa True Blue is unfactual and he doesn't allow comments. Go to Bleeding Heartland to look at the comments concerning a post Iowa True Blue put up recently about Obama.
First, CONGRATULATIONS NONEED. We do make a difference here in Iowa.
Second, while I have often wondered why Gordon doesn't allow comments I really doubt that Gordon said something that wasn't accurate. He is a genuine Boy Scout.
I see blogs in Iowa just beginning to take off. The caucuses have allowed blogs to expand. Now the blogs can take that and cover issues at the state house. I am looking forward to the next year.
