John Edwards began his 3 day Road to One America Tour today to bring attention to the 1 in 8 Americans living in poverty.
I noticed this quote from a campaign press release that is the theme to the tour.
"Past anti-poverty efforts have failed to create enough opportunities for people to work their way out of poverty and into the middle class," Edwards said. "We will never end poverty until we create more opportunities for people to earn enough to support themselves and their families. We need to put our economy back in line with our values by making it possible to work hard and build a better life."Edwards frames this issue in a way that it would make it hard to find someone who disagrees with it. Many people believe poor people deserve to be poor because they don't work hard. This is a false frame. Edwards points out that people who work hard should not be living in poverty and stressed that we need to create more opportunities and reward work to give people a chance at a middle class lifestyle.

Oh, but it is so much fun to pick on Edwards hair, because, as you know, it is PERFECT! I've been 16 inches away from it, and believe me, it exudes perfection.
Think about it - An army of government trained hairstylists could style, dye, and curl us into a brighter 21st century! We'll be better looking than any other country out there! Terrorists will stop bombing us because we'll have such good hair!
As for Romney, it's pretty pathetic for him to spend that kind of $$$. Maybe we need a YouTube video of him putting on mascara or moisturizing cream to galvanize him as the Cover Girl, to go along with the Breck Girl.
