George W. Bush speaking about the Russia-Georgia conflict...

Bullying and intimidation are not acceptable ways to conduct foreign policy in the 21st Century.

Should the United States stand by and let the USSR return? Or should we try and do whatever we can short of military action to slow them down?

No, we should use all diplomatic measures with Russia to end the conflict in Georgia.

But I would contend that what Bush has said is Diplomatic in nature. When you are doing "conflict management", you sometimes need to speak in a manner that your counterpart can understand.

Actions speak louder than words. Our actions the past 8 years has ruined our reputation around the world. America must lead once again and not act as bullies that think we can invade other countries, torture, and throw people in prison and throw away the key.

Our actions (I'm assuming you are referring to the federal government) over the last 8 years has NOT ruined our reputation. The whining, gimme, Americans have ruined our reputation around the world. We have every opportunity in the world to succeed, yet oh so many of us squander that so we can be lazy and live off of the fracking taxpayer. That's what people around the world think.

Don't for a minute try and blame someone else for your own failures!

Americans have been none as fat, lazy, and whiny for decades. Just look at the James Bond movies with Roger Moore from the 70's.

Over the past 8 years the Bush Administration began conducting water boarding, Abu Ghraib, Gitmo, torture, abandoning the Geneva Conventions, eliminating habeas corpus, secret prisons, rendition?
