Obama Has Out-campaigned Clinton

Andrew Sullivan says that Obama hasn't just out-dreamed her. He has out-campaigned her.

The evidence of this is Obama blowing Clinton out in nearly all caucus states where organization is key.

The consequence seems to be Clinton parting ways with her campaign manager.

Why do you think citing Andrew Sullivan helps the case for Obama?

He is a Reagan conservative. His love for Obama only reinforces my belief that either 1) Sullivan expects Obama to lose the general, or 2) Sullivan expects Obama to govern like a conservative, not a progressive.

Anyway, it is obvious now that Clinton's strategists believed their big leads in the February 5 states were insurmountable. They expected to put Obama away on Super Tuesday and had no plan B.

Where Clinton had an organization (IA, NH, NV) she didn't do too badly. She didn't bother to put together any organization in the other caucus states, and that is killing her now.

A 3rd place finish in Iowa is not good. The win in New Hampshire had as much to do with home field advantage as anything. Clinton had organized in South Carolina and got blown out there. I think the more Clinton campaigns in the state, the lower the poll numbers she gets.

I cite Andrew Sullivan because to accomplish things Democrats need to convince the Reagen Democrats that left party to come back. There is a large group of Americans that are moderate in the their views, not the Washington insider definition of moderate, but more of the Lakoff definition of a moderate.

I have written about this many times. Search this blog for moderate or centrists for more on this.
