"Unless someone like you, cares a whole awful lot, nothing is going to get better. It's not." -From The Lorax by Dr. Seuss
From a July 2002 memo from the military's Joint Personnel Recovery Agency...
The unintended consequence of a U.S. policy that provides for the torture of prisoners is that it could be used by our adversaries as justification for the torture of captured U.S. personnel.Posted April 25, 2009.

I find it amusing that Moore thinks Medicare and Social Security are good examples of Government programs. They'll single-handedly destroy this country once the early baby boomers hit their mid-70s.
So, anonymous, I guess you'll be opting out of Medicare and Social Security when you get to be that age, huh? I'm sure you'll just want to rely on your private health insurance coverage (which probably won't pay for any of your prescription drugs).
I have lived in countries with universal care. They have some problems, but I would trade our problems for their problems in a heartbeat.
