Iowa for Health Care

The Quad City Times has a story about Iowa for Health Care and the work they are doing in the presidential race.

...the group has signed up 20,000 members — and this year, with less than seven months left before the 2008 presidential caucuses, they are making a push to boost their membership — and influence — again.

A 20-member team, based in Coralville, is striking out to sign people up. The team expects to be in the Quad-Cities later this month and in early July.

“I think we’re the biggest and most effective issue-based campaign in the state of Iowa,” says Sarah Swisher, the state director.
